A guide on how to accept your place at Ark Putney Academy
On 1st March all families will receive confirmation of the secondary school place their child has received in the borough.
We know that depending on the offer you receieve this may be a daunting process. We've included a short guide on accepting your place with us or beginning the appeals process if you would like to appeal for a place at Ark Putney Academy.
Step 1: Accepting your place
If you applied online…
During the evening of the 1st March 2016 you will be sent your secondary school/UTC outcome by email. You will also receive notification by either parentcomms/text if you signed up to these services.
If you applied online and you have been offered your first choice of school you will receive an email confirming this choice. There is no need to take any further action… We’ll see you in September!
If you applied online and you received any other offer than your first choice of school you will receive an email letting you know where your child has been offered a place. If you choose to accept this place you will need to login to the e admissions website (https://www.eadmissions.org.uk/eAdmissions/app) using the login details you used to make your application and confirm your place.
If you choose not to accept this place and wish you appeal you will receive an email and a letter through the post explaining how you can do so. Alternatively if you would like to appeal for a place at Ark Putney Academy please contact us directly and we can help you with the appeal process. All Secondary school appeals must be submitted by 15th April 2015.
If you submitted a paper application…

If you have not been offered your first choice you will receive a letter outlining your offer with a reply slip attached that you must return to the council by 15th April to accept your place or make an appeal.
