Welcome to Sixth Form

Welcome To Ark Putney Sixth Form

Ark Putney is a warm and welcoming Sixth Form in the heart of Putney. We know how important it is to be treated as an individual, that’s why we offer tailored support to every one of our students to make sure they get the most out of their time here.

We pride ourselves on our impressive academic results. In 2015 70% of our A Level results were graded A*-C or higher and 56% of our Year 13 students went on to Russell or 1994 Group Universities.

We want our students to be fully prepared for whatever lies ahead, whether that is university, an apprenticeship or going straight into the workplace. Our committed staff offer support in everything from submitting applications to UCAS or securing work experience.

It’s not all about academic success, we know how important it is for students to have skills and interests beyond the classroom. On Wednesday afternoons all of our students take part in an enrichment activity of their choosing, such as Duke of Edinburgh, Food Technology, First Aid or Basketball. Our Sixth Form Society is considered to be one of the best in London and has a proud history of prestigious speakers such as Ken Livingstone, Peter Tatchell and John Sweeney amongst many others.

We encourage all our students to make a positive contribution to their community. We have an active Sixth Form Charity Committee where students choose causes to support and fundraise for throughout the year.
