We will be moving to six fifty minute lessons, which is in line with the teaching time allocated by other schools in the local area. The longer lesson will give students further opportunity to work independently in lessons and is part of our strategy to move the cognitive load (thinking) to students to ensure that they are playing an active part in their learning. The early finish on Fridays will allow us to continue to create opportunities to co-plan with staff.  If you wish to offer any feedback on this change please contact my PA, Julie Rickard at j.rickard@arkputneyacademy.org
