Last Friday we had a very special visit from Pro Boxer and Former student Joe Joyce. Joe is a 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist, Commonwealth Gold Medalist, World Amateur Bronze Medalist and European Amateur Bronze Medalist. He turned Pro in 2017 with Hayemaker Ringstar, a management company owned by the infamous David Haye.

 

He has had two fights both by knockout and now eyes a next fight vs. Dereck Chisora on the Tony Bellow v David Haye rematch undeclared.

 

He attended the school from Secondary through to 6th Form. As well as being a keen sportsman he also completed an Art A Level under the instruction of Mr Solari - who continues to head up our Art Department.

He then went on to University to complete a degree in Fine Art before moving into competitive sports and boxing.

 

We are so proud of his achievements and would like to thank him for coming back in to inspire us!
