Year 10 Fieldwork, Swanage Beach

On Thursday, Mr Ffrench-Constant, Ms Bingham, Ms Harvey and I took the (new) Y11 cohort on their GCSE fieldtrip to Swanage beach on the Jurassic Coast.
As temperatures on the beach soared, the Y11s went about investigating two key questions:
1. How effective are the groynes on Swanage beach?
2. Are locals/tourists happy with hard engineering?
Students not only got a great tan but also some great results to analyse back at school!
