Year 7 Young Enterprise Event

Last week It was Year 7's turn to take on the Young Enterprise Programme - where professionals from the business world educate our students about the world of work and what skills are needed for them!
We kicked off with problem solving activities to help drive independence and teamwork, then we took part in a character quiz - identifying our professional personalities.
Later on in the day we took to our groups and came up with a small business idea. This involved creating a marketing plan from scratch, identifying various needs including branding, logos, strap lines, campaign drives and event ideas. We also looked at the financial aspects of business ownership including managing budgets and costing.
As well as Young Enterprise themselves we would like to thank all the volunteers including The Post Office, HSBC and the world of Engineering and Construction.... you were amazing!
