Ark Putney Academy is now consulting on its admissions policy for September 2027 intake. The consultation will run from Monday 1st December 2025 to Sunday 11th January 2026.
Proposed Changes
The draft policy is available via the link below, proposed changes are highlighted in yellow. Hard copies are also available on request at the contact details below.
The main change we are proposing is to reduce the Published Admissions Number (PAN) for Year 7 from 180 to 150, effective from September 2027. The reason for this change is driven by wider demographic and educational changes in Wandsworth and across London, with local authority forecasts indicating a continued decline in the number of secondary school-aged children across Wandsworth. Adjusting the PAN to reflect projected local demand is a strategic response to ensure the school’s long-term sustainability and efficient use of resources.
