Why do we learn art?
The art curriculum at Ark Putney Academy aims to encourage and provide visual literacy and develop student confidence in material exploration and practical responses. It is also enables every student to gain an understanding of how art and design continues to shape and inform the world we live in today. Projects are designed to develop and build students’ skills and contextual understanding.
